New Lexington & Concord?

DrPaleoPhd has sent me a link to the following page:

InterAmerican Convention against Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials

It's at the Gun Owners of America website, and I like those guys more than I like the NRA. Larry Pratt is a professing Christian, and if you've never read any of his essays, you owe it to yourself to do so while you're over there.

I'm not a big fan of "writing your Congressmen" as a solution to political problems, but in a case like this, I feel it necessary to stand up and be counted. I'm not worried about my name being put on a list, because I'm sure it's already been there for decades.

Is this treaty going to spark the Lexington/Concord of our day? I don't know. I'd like to think that confronting political/judicial tyranny will become unnecessary because America will repent, turn to God and His Anointed King (Jesus) and begin to live by His Laws.

So, pray . . . and stick by your guns.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. . . . Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Eph 6:11-18)
