Mindset, Tactical Training . . . and a Handgun

To survive a violent confrontation, mindset is a sine qua non, and tactical training is a high priority. BUT -- especially -- if your assailant is armed, a handgun is a good thing to have.

Thanks to Deolexrex for sending me the link to the video below. It's about an East L.A. watchmaker who killed five robbers in four separate gunfights.

As you watch, look for those three components of surviving armed violence: mindset, tactical training & a handgun. They aren't hard to spot.

There's a fourth component that should be obvious to the Christian Martialist: providence.

Tonight, ABC is airing a special look at guns on 20/20. The Establishment media is going to drum its message into the semi-consciousness of a people who elected Barack Obama to the presidency.

This video needs to go viral. If you have a blog, please post this video. If you don't, email a link to this post to as many people as you can. Let's do our best to counter this latest media blitz.

Thanks so much for posting this! I will definitely pass it on.

I would love to ask him what he thinks would be the best way to prepare oneself mentally to face an armed attacker.

His witness is wonderful but he could lose so much fear if he knew the Lord, which I'm assuming he doesn't.

As you know about my personal struggle with the graphicness of Grosman's works, it was interesting to again see the link between military combat and self defense combat reiterated.
