Muslims of America: Illegal Activity Funds Terrorism

Up to 70% of the residents of the 35 Muslims of America compounds were recruited in prison. Their Pakistani leader requires them to send 30% of their income to him, to fund his various activities. (He is leader of Jamat Ul-Fuqra, a known terrorist organization.)

It should not surprise us that, in addition to training ex-cons in the use of small arms, the Muslims of America raises funds through illicit trafficking in counterfeit goods. See this Fox News report:

Of course, embezzlement is another avenue for fundraising, as well. Here is an ABC News report on Muslims of America activity in California:

Terrorism & Bureaucratic Paranoia

Political correctness and paranoina evidently go hand in hand in the "war on terror". In my Islamberg post, I mentioned a Homeland Security report that zeroes in on political conservatives as potential terrorists.

My barber sent me a link that points out that the same report identifies veterans of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as additional candidates for domestic terrorism.

Interesting that the Powers That Be use our young men as cannon fodder in the Middle East to further their globalist aims. Then, the Powers fear these same young men when they come home.

Why?

Could it have something to do with the fact that military veterans tend to be firearms owners and strong supporters of the Second Amendment? Could it be because as these young men mature so will their political philosophy and knowledge?

Perhaps it has something to do with the fear that some of these highly courageous and highly trained young men will come to realize that love and loyalty to one's country sometimes requires oppositon to one's civil authority.

As for me, I do not fear the veterans in society around me. I am much more wary of those still in uniform, who are flush with unquestioning patriotism that fuels their training to follow any and all orders.

If you think it can't happen here, I would ask you to view the following video. It has happened, is happening, and will continue to happen here, until a sufficient number of Americans stand up and say, "Enough!"

When that happens, look around you. You'll see plenty of veterans in the ranks. In my opinion, that's what the bureaucrats really fear.

Islamville & the Muslim Scouts of America

What could be as all-American as Mom, apple pie and the Boy Scouts of America. I know, scouting started in England, but it has become an icon of the American spirit.

Perhaps it should flatter and please us that the Muslims of America -- an organization with known terrorist ties -- has its own version of the Boy Scouts: The Muslim Scouts of America. It shows that they're assimilating into the mainstream culture, right? Hmmmmm . . . .

Here are some of the skills that scouts typically learn: fieldcraft (camping, tracking, etc), orienteering (map & compass), rappelling (not repelling, please), emergency medical response (first aid & CPR), archery, rifle marksmanship. In case you have not read Major H. John Poole's The Tiger's Way recently, I will remind you that these are all skills useful to guerilla and partisan fighters.

Given the facts presented in my last two posts on 35 possible (probable) training camps started by Pakistani cleric Sheikh Gilani, I take no comfort that Muslim Scouts from all over America have trained in Islamville, South Carolina -- about 2 hours drive from my house.

I have two videos here about Islaville, SC. The first is a local TV station report. Note that the local sheriff "hopes" that Islamville is not a terrorist training camp and that the groups associations are of a concern to him.

South Carolina's FBI Agent in Charge, Leslie Weiser attended a Muslim Scouts graduation ceremony in 2004, where he delivered a terminally naive message about tolerance and living together in peace. May be he'll come to the next WARSKYL conference to give us a Pollyanna peptalk as well.

Why do the FBI and Homeland Security ignore these outposts and harass patriotic Americans, branding them as terrorists? You only have a difficulty with that question if you assume that they are on our side.

Now, just in case you are convinced that scouting could never be subverted to terrorist ends, you may need to see this video about the PLO Boy Scouts in Palestine:

Red House, VA's Muslim Compound

In yesterday's post I featured a video of the Muslims of America's Islamberg in New York State. It revealed that most of the members were recruited while in prison. Also, on weekends visitors from the Mideast flood the compound, and prolonged gunfire erupts.

The following video report from CBN news focuses on the compound in Red House, Virginia. It also exposes the common leadership between Muslims of America and jamat al-fuqra, a known terrorist organization.

This reminds me of the visits some hysterical women paid to this blog a while back & their false allegations that I am somehow responsible for WARSKYL militia groups across the country. They thought this was really "scary".

Well, these compounds are real, and our civil authorities, would rather focus on Ron Paul supporters or anti-abortionists. I guess the bureaucracy has a lot in common with a bunch of hysterical women.

Let me know if you think I should continue this series, or not.

Islamberg

In the Sudan, the government disarmed Christians and other non-Muslims, then sat back and watched private, Muslim militia groups decimate those who would not follow their false prophet.

Meanwhile, here in America over the past 26 years, a radical Muslim cleric in Pakistan has been planting more than 30 compounds across the country. There are organizational ties with terrorist groups, and a terrorist training video put out by their leader, Sheikh Gilani.

If you think the FBI would shut these camps down, think again. No, the feds would rather harass ordinary Americans for buying ammunition or other trumped up firearms offenses.

And the Department of Homeland Security has issued a report that shows who the real terrorists are: right wingers who oppose President Obama's left-wing agenda. (See Michelle Malkin's verification & assessment of the report here.)

Are we the next Sudan? Oh, wait . . . I forgot. It can't happen here . . . . . . . . . . . right?

Here is a Fox News report on the compound known as Islamberg in New York's Catskill Mountains:

New Lexington & Concord?

DrPaleoPhd has sent me a link to the following page:

InterAmerican Convention against Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials

It's at the Gun Owners of America website, and I like those guys more than I like the NRA. Larry Pratt is a professing Christian, and if you've never read any of his essays, you owe it to yourself to do so while you're over there.

I'm not a big fan of "writing your Congressmen" as a solution to political problems, but in a case like this, I feel it necessary to stand up and be counted. I'm not worried about my name being put on a list, because I'm sure it's already been there for decades.

Is this treaty going to spark the Lexington/Concord of our day? I don't know. I'd like to think that confronting political/judicial tyranny will become unnecessary because America will repent, turn to God and His Anointed King (Jesus) and begin to live by His Laws.

So, pray . . . and stick by your guns.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. . . . Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Eph 6:11-18)

Buying Ammunition, 2

The picture below comes from my barber under the subject heading: "My Kind of Gal"

Buying Ammunition

Sorry, I've not posted for a few days. I've been on the road, with no internet access.

The following comes from Deolexrex. Don't forget to thank G.W. Bush for putting yet one more tool of tyranny in the hands of the statists -- and still the Muslim training camps continue unmolested. Here's the message from Deolexrex:

One northern Warren County resident found out recently the government is paying attention to such ammunition sales.

West said a customer of his recently stocked up on .223-caliber rounds, a caliber often used in assault-style weapons. The customer bought 1,000 rounds a few months ago through a mail order company. Shortly after the purchase, he received a visit from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, whose interest was apparently piqued by a large-scale purchase of that caliber.

"His wife was home. He was at church," West said.

It would appear mail order may not really "save" you much after all.

Rifle Marksmanship Video

Deolexrex recently sent me a link to the WWII era Army training films on marksmanship with the M1 Garand Rifle. I've posted on this before, but this would be a good time to put the video of the first film right here where you can see it.

Deolexrex writes:

This is the best I've seen, so, grab some popcorn and your rifle and get some practice in!

"If I Only Had a Propaganda Machine"

On Friday, ABC aired "If I Only Had a Gun" which turned out to be a carefully contrived fiction posing as a documentary. At the outset, media personality Diane Sawyer looks through the camera into the eyes of America and says this program is not about gun control.

After the disavowal, she and her cohorts spend the rest of the hour building their case against guns. The first segment engages in an alleged experiment to demonstrate that the average person with a gun is too clutzy to use it to defend him/herself -- or even to draw it out of the holster.

With this objective, the police created a scenario in which a shooter would enter a firearm instruction classroom and begin peppering the classroom with paint-filled bullets. One student was armed with a gun also loaded with paint markers. The student, however was unaware of the planned scenario.

Now, granted that in an emergency, adrenaline can affect fine muscle control. Fine. But that's not what ABC was testing.

Instead, ABC (with the aid of the Bethlehem, PA police dept.) made sure that each subject wore protective gear, including heavy gloves to reduce tactile feedback as well as manual dexterity. As a result, every subject in the experiment experienced difficulty getting the weapon into action.

The network also used the segment to show that arenaline induced "tunnel vision" caused subjects to endanger fellow students and to ignore a second shooter. But rather than risk that some of the subjects might not experience tunnel vision, ABC and the police went for assured results by making sure everyone had on a "protective helmet" to block peripheral vision.

As if these drawbacks were not enough, they put each test subject in the center of the front row, and the shooter knew the exact location of this single armed student.

Thus, to prove a point, "the family network" contrived to guarantee failure for each participant in its first segment. The professionally crafted message comes across loud and clear: If you have a gun, you will never be able to access it in an emergency.

The second segment is an interesting counterpoint to the first. The message is that your gun needs to be locked up to protect your children. That will pretty much guarantees that you won't be able to access it in an emergency, doesn't it?

The real issue with youngsters and guns is that if your children don't obey you about anything else, why would they heed your instructions about firearms? The real need here is not to lock up firearms, but to properly train children to obey. (See my book, Rearing Faithful Children.)

I could go on, but I'll leave something for you to comment on, if you wish. Also, if you wish, you can watch the first part of ABC's propaganda piece, below.

"Prepare a Thankful Song"

I hope the Lord has blessed you on this day, the high point of our Paschal celebration. My pastor preached on Revelation 1:9-18 this morning. A good passage to celebrate the resurrection, for it focuses on the glory and majesty of the resurrected Christ:

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
(Rev 1:9-18)

Here is the last stanza of a hymn by John Newton, "Prepare a Thankful Song"

Though pressed, we will not yield,
But shall prevail at length,
For Jesus is our sun and shield,
Our righteousness and strength.
Assured that CHRIST our king,
Will put our foes to flight;
We, on the field of battle, sing
And triumph, while we fight.

Swords, Sorcery and Warrior Health

You may wonder what swords and sorcery have to do with warrior health. Well, in the 1970's, a revival of interest in J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings (books, schlock art and even an animated movie) bore responsibility for a spurred interest in stories of the "Sword and Sorcery" genre.

I read one -and only one -- of a series of novels that included a sword-wielding warrior. His dissipated lifestyle did not impress me.

What did impress me was one scene in the book. As I recall, this warrior was the last servant of the goddess of a nearly-forgotten religion. Periodically, she would summon him to send him on a quest. But first, she forced him to participate in a painful ritual.

As he embraced the pedestal of the goddess's long-gone image, a purifying, fiery force swept through his body. I believe the narrative said the force cleansed cholesterol from his artery walls and toxins from his system. At the end, he looked, felt and performed like a younger person.

A couple of weeks ago, I saw a TV segment on the 700 Club that related a practice that can also remove toxins, clean out the arteries, heal diseased organs and youthen the practitioner. As an added bonus, you don't have to go to Hell for serving pagan gods.

The segment dealt with fasting. When I was in my twenties, I used to fast (ingested nothing but water) one day per week. Over the years, I've tried to get back into the habit, but couldn't seem to find the right schedule.

I've thought about it recently, though and that fasting might help with my various joint problems, the pain & swelling that is still left over from my shin splints, and it might even help burn off a few pounds of fat.

Well, the program that spotlighted fasting was just the catalyst that I needed to launch me into action. Last week I went on a modified juice fast for two days (ate lunch as normal on Wednesday, and then took in only water, juice and grapefruit until lunchtime Friday)

This week I went three days -- from after lunch on Tuesday until after lunch on Friday. I included an 8-oz. glass of prune juice each morning. Prune juice is naturally high in sugar, but it sure helps to clean out the colon, so it's a trade off.

I also continued working out on my fast days. My rationale is twofold:
  1. Serum protein levels in Americans tend to be high, which will carry me over for a few days;
  2. After the fast, I don't want my body to react to the "starving time" by redoubling its efforts to store energy as fat -- instead, I hope my body will say to itself, "Finally I have the nutrients necessary to repair & build muscle tissue.
On the second and third days, I had a thick coat on my tongue (something I remember from previous fasts) I believe this signifies that my body is throwing off toxins. I also experienced a lot of mucus production at the same time.

As far as benefits, the swelling and pain has decreased in my legs, my knees feel better and I have a general sense of well-being. My wife says she has noticed that my breathing does not seem as labored when I undertake any strenuous activity.

Anyway, if you want to view the video of the segment that got me back into fasting, you can watch it below. My use of it here, however, does not constitute an endorsement of the 700 Club of Pat Robertson's teachings.

Mindset, Tactical Training . . . and a Handgun

To survive a violent confrontation, mindset is a sine qua non, and tactical training is a high priority. BUT -- especially -- if your assailant is armed, a handgun is a good thing to have.

Thanks to Deolexrex for sending me the link to the video below. It's about an East L.A. watchmaker who killed five robbers in four separate gunfights.

As you watch, look for those three components of surviving armed violence: mindset, tactical training & a handgun. They aren't hard to spot.

There's a fourth component that should be obvious to the Christian Martialist: providence.

Tonight, ABC is airing a special look at guns on 20/20. The Establishment media is going to drum its message into the semi-consciousness of a people who elected Barack Obama to the presidency.

This video needs to go viral. If you have a blog, please post this video. If you don't, email a link to this post to as many people as you can. Let's do our best to counter this latest media blitz.

New Project Cancelled

Yesterday, I gave away a vintage self defense book which I hoped to use as a promo for a new project involving the sale of vintage self defense classics. After hearing from someone with experience in internet marketing, I decided to cancel the project.

I won't go into all the reasons, but I have decided it is not in my best interest to go ahead with this. If you downloaded the free book, please delete it and download this copy, instead:

Jiu-Jitsu Combat Tricks

The only difference is that it has the links relevant to the defunct project deleted.

I am still working on a Christian Martialist text, and when that is done it will be a much better value for you to buy or promote as an affiliate.

Thanks for your patience with me . . . I 'm still learning

Free Book Download

I have prepared a vintage self defense book (published 1904) for my readers to download. It's called Jiu-Jitsu Combat Tricks by H. Irving Hancock. The subtitle is Japanese Feats of Attack and Defense in Personal Encounter.

Hancock wrote at least three other books on various aspects Japan's martial tradition. This one focuses strictly on self defense applications.

Here's what I like about this book:

First, his preliminary comments on training are helpful and spot on. I'm not sure about his advice for hardening the edge of the hand, but the method he describes doesn't sound as though it would lead to damage or deformity.

He also devotes considerable space to the efficacy and application of the edge-of-hand blow (judo chop). In addition, he spends several pages giving an explanation of tripping and throwing. These two features make it invaluable, since many books of that period (and today!) focus solely on holds and locks

However, the holds and locks that you'll find in the book round it out into a nice, balanced treatment. The only major drawback to the book is that it does not contain as many pictures as I'd like. The photographs he does have are clear, though, and his explanations of each photo and its related technique is thorough.

I highly recommend that you download, read and practice the contents of Jiu-Jitsu Combat Tricks. You may also give the book away or share the link with as many people as you like (the more the better). I'll explain why tomorrow.

Here's the link:

Binghamton Shooting

My wife was born in Binghamton, N.Y. She grew up on the family farm in Pennsylvania, just 30 miles south. My mother-in-law says she knows the spot where the shooting took place.

For some reason, that makes the recent shooting seem a lot closer to home. That's sobering.

Another sobering fact is that after police arrived on the scene, they waited thirty minutes before entering the building. Thirty minutes . . . while victims lay bleeding inside.

This is not to criticize the police. They were acting tactically to what had turned from a mass shooting into a hostage situation. I'm definitely not criticizing the police.

I AM criticizing the civil government of the State of New York for restrictive gun laws that all but guaranteed that the victims in building would be defenseless. I AM ALSO criticizing the Establishment media for pushing the gun control agenda and the just-dial-911 mentality.

While I'm hurling criticism, I might also mention the general public who have so forsaken godly morality and responsibility that God has given them up to a reprobate mind (Romans 1:28) to believe the nonsense churned out by the politicians and the media.

As I wrote to a brother just this morning: "I hesitate to use the reductio ad absurdum in discussions any more, because too often [in the past] the other participant has willingly embraced the absurdity."

As Dr. Stewart Crane used to say, "If I've failed to offend anybody, please stand up, and I'll get to you before you leave."

My barber sent me this link to a discussion of the shooting (Some may find the language used offensive):

The Bridge

This film clip dramatizes a story I first read as a sermon illustration over 40 years ago. It was an old story at that time, supposed to have been based on an actual event.

Christian Martialists need to remember always the debt of love -- and loyalty -- we owe to our King. Here's a touching reminder.

Sanchin Practice

In Elements of Punching, 2, I mentioned using the idea behind sanchin kata found in Shito Ryu (and other forms) of karate. It involves going through the motions of a kata as you breathe deeply and keep all muscles tensed.

One of the objects is to turn the karateka's musculature into a living suit of armor impervious to the blows of an adversary. The strong contractions while performing sanchin strengthen and harden the muscles.

This is almost identical to one of the principles that John E. Peterson teaches: Dynamic Visualized Resistance (DVR) in his book Pushing Yourself to Power. Over the past two or three weeks, I have tried to harness this principle in my training.

I have developed my own little "kata" which involves the combat wedge, kneeing, palm-heel strikes, elbow strikes and judo chops. I perform each move as I would on a real opponent, only slowly with muscles tensed.

It's strength training combined with skills training, and it seems to complement (not compliment, please!) my fitness training. I like it.

Here is a video of the traditional sanchin kata along with explanation.
