From the CBS TV show, "The Unit":
"What do you do if you see Indians?"
"Be careful."
"What do you do if you don't see Indians?"
"Be twice as careful."

The Christian Martialist is primarily a defender of the faithful (one who in time of crisis puts himself between God's flock and danger). This blog is dedicated to those who voluntarily shoulder this burden.

Great thought!
Is the Unit a good series? I saw the end of one at my grandparents house and was pretty impressed, but I'd like to hear your opinion of it.
Sounds like either way, it portrays sound tactical concepts.
There are things I like about "The Unit", and things I don't. They tend to show a lot of the stresses on the families. This is supposed to add to the realism, but it can get rather soap opera-ish.
Also, I'm not fan of the loyalty-to-country-above-all attitude that is required for the kind of ops these guys carry out.
With those caveats, I still like to watch it for the small unit precision, loyalty & camaraderie.
Also for great lines like (to the best of my memory):
"There's a guard posted. They may be expecting us."
"They may be expecting SOMEBODY, but they're definitely not expecting US."
