A Little Mental Training Exercise

My barber sent me the link to the video below along with the question, "What do you see wrong in this video??"

I submit it to you for your observation and comment.

Of course, it's easy to be an armchair critic, so I ask you to be charitable in whatever criticisms you make.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought he was far too slow. With the first shot he fired, he would have alerted all the "baddies" and possibly caused the killing of the "hostages" not to mention endangering himself with being so slow.

Just my uneducated 2 cents.

The Shooter sweeps the video man not once but twice.

Scary to think people are getting away with this. The various other consideration pale in comparison to this gross violation to life and limb.

Worse yet is imagining this shooter or trainer in real encounter.

Hopefully these people and facility will receive some remediation.

He had the gun pointed at the cameraman while reloading, which he was warned about. He seemed to lean around blind corners with the gun tucked back against himself, which exposed him and limited his ability to react quickly.

Also, was it just me, or were the "bad guys" all black and the "good guys" all white?

At time 1:05 shooter sweeps muzzle at and across video man (with round in chamber). This is an extreme violation of safety.

At time 1:30 sweeps muzzle (this time with slide locked back). This is a serious training issue. The video man/ trainer(?) is very late on the check muzzle call.

OK, so it wasn't just me! (I thought I saw the same thing.)

Kudos, guys. Let me know the next time you plan to be in Possum Kingdom, and I'll take you out for coffee.

I'll take you up on that, one day. :-)

(Was I right, then? Or are there more than once correct answers?)
