The Christian Martialist is primarily a defender of the faithful (one who in time of crisis puts himself between God's flock and danger). This blog is dedicated to those who voluntarily shoulder this burden.
"A Cautionary Tale for CCW Permit Carriers" describes an actual event in which an armed citizen could well have killed a plainclothes officer by mistake or been killed by a uniformed officer who arrived on the scene.
Something everybody that intends to carry should consider! We hear stories about trained personnel making mistakes during an incident. Knowing that it is difficult to react properly during such a crisis makes it imperative we train seriously and use the best judgment we can, especially now with these freedoms under fire from those that are essentially afraid of firearms. How can you defend your right to bear arms if citizens are accused of improper reactions? I think the only real wrong the CC here did was in fleeing the scene. He had legitimate reasons for assisting in what most certainly looked like an assault in progress. The off-duty officer should never have gone for his badge. Tunnel vision for both of them almost got him killed over some stolen purses.
The author of this blog does not advocate hate or unprovoked violence against any group. The purpose of this blog is to provide the very best information regarding philosophy, mindset training, and technique for the Christian in the context of defense. Nothing posted here should be construed as promoting or excusing hostile speech or acts toward anyone.
