I have also found the math essay by Vern Poythress in "Foundations of Christian Scholarship" to be very insightful on the subject.

I originally intended to mention Nickel's book in the post, but forgot. Thanks for bringing it up.Craig Muttonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09101854366269262430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-237107568980307385.post-54535684170195486872010-11-20T18:16:42.378-05:002010-11-20T18:16:42.378-05:00Bravo, bravo! (This is the last entry, correct?)

Thank you for sticking your neck out on this one. I know it wasn't easy...but at least we aren't alone, isn't that right?

Spencer

P.S. I mention this mostly because you already know of the other sources that I think of on this topic (Rushdoony, Bahnsen, Van Til), but mentioning mathematics makes me wonder, did you ever read James Nickel's Mathematics: is God Silent? It's one of my favorite books, and not only covers math, it also gave me a framework with how to view scientific inquiry period. Wonderful, wonderful book!
